The Get Home Safely website is an aspect of the social justice ministries of Trinity United Church of Christ as we work to create safe environments to the young men and women of our community. Our outreach efforts are led by Rev. Attorney Aaron McLeod, our Exec. Director of Special Projects.
The mission of the Dare To Be King Project LLC (DTBK) is to inspire, support and strengthen organizations that provide services to boys of color. Our goal is to engage boys and men of color for emotional development, familial reconciliation and academic success.
During 10 days in October the people of Chicagoland were provided an opportunity to see engaging, life changing feature films, shorts and music videos, in venues throughout the area. Many of the film screenings included panel discussions with experts and community leaders that provided context, and enhance the conversation.
